iOS vs Android for African Startups

I am a massive fan of This Week in Startups, and always confess that it's the show that helped me make the jump. Jason Calacanis, the Host of the show, often organises Q&A sessions in which superfans of the show can get his views on various points. I've always been curious to get his take on the Android vs iOS case in Emerging Markets, and how startups should look at that product wise.
